Mercedes-Benz Introducing Acceleration Subscription Fee

Mercedes-Benz

Mercedes-Benz is planning to roll out an online subscription service within the United States that will make it’s electric cars speed up even quicker, according to the BBC.

Arriving with an annual cost of $1,200 (£991) excluding tax, Mercedes-Benz will enable some of its vehicles to accelerate from 0-60mph a second faster, and comes after rival BMW offered a subscription service for heated seats, earlier this year.

According to a report from the Mercedes US online store, the feature “electronically increases” the output of the car’s motor, as well as the torque.
